Helped by her eager new assistant\, Annelle\, Truvy dispenses shampoos and free advice to the ladies of the town; Ouiser\, Clairee\, M’Lynn\, and Shelby.  Filled with hilarious repartee and not a few acerbic but humorously revealing verbal collisions.
