Join Our Family!

All it takes to become a member of Theatre 98 is buying a season ticket. Members have the first opportunity for their choice of seats and performance nights, and can vote in Theatre 98 elections, as well as enjoying a savings of $13 over the cost of single ticket admissions. As a member you are guaranteed the same seat on the same night all season long, but have complete flexibility to change your night to a different one for any given production--all it takes is a phone call to the box office. And season tickets make wonderful presents.

Ticket Prices

Season Ticket $50 (for our 4-play season)

Student Season Ticket $25

Single admission $15. ($18 for musicals and classical productions)

Student single admission $10 ($12. for musicals and classical productions)

Please note that in order to make more seats available to new patrons, we now offer a Wednesday night performance for which we will not sell season tickets. Of course, season ticket holders who need to change from their regular night for any reason will also be able to come to the Wednesday night performance.

Box Office

The box office opens on the Monday of the week a production opens. Hours are 5:15-7:15 p.m. Monday-Saturday. To make a phone reservation, please leave a message with an evening phone number on the theatre voicemail (251-928-4366) and the box office ladies will call to confirm. Because seating at our theater is limited, we ask that you pay for your ticket within 24 hours of making the reservation. You are welcome to pay over the phone with a credit card.

Our theater is small, and frequently more people wish to see a play than we have seats. If you are unable to attend a performance, please call the box office to let us know. Seats unclaimed by ten minutes before performance time may be sold. If you are running a little late, call the box office and we will hold your seat until curtain. Patrons who arrive after the performance begins will not be seated.

Stand-by Seating

Our productions often sell out, but because of last-minute cancellations and no-shows, we always have some seats available for stand-by patrons. Come to the theater at least half an hour before curtain and put your name on the stand-by list. The earlier you come, the higher your name will be on the list. Patrons who come on stand-by the first weekend almost always are seated, and most second-week stand-by patrons also are able to get in.
