Auditions for the one-act comedies, A Marriage Proposal and The Boor, by Anton Chekhov, will be held on Monday, August 2, at 7pm, and Tuesday, August 3, at 7 pm. Directors Jonne and Becky Thornton are looking for men aged 25-70 and women aged 20-50. No experience necessary!

Theatre 98 is always looking for new faces to put on stage, and no experience is necessary. Almost every one of our productions has had at least one newcomer in it. Auditions are held at the theater, usually about ten weeks before the production opens. While every director is different, as a general rule he or she will have the prospective actors read from the script in question, sometimes alone and sometimes with another actor. It is never necessary to have a prepared audition monologue, but if an actor does have one, most directors will be happy to hear it.
